Steve and Lena grew up in rural settings, Steve in small town Ontario surrounded by corn fields and dairy farms while Lena was homesteading in rural Alberta. Little did they know this would plant the seed for running a farm of their own later in life.

Steve found his way out west after high school, looking to the mountains for adventure. He took up a career welding and put in well over a decade in the construction industry with the last years in project management. Lena made the move from Alberta to Vancouver Island shortly after high school spending time working in the service industry and many years as a project manager for government run social programs before finding her passion as a tattoo artist.

Upon welcoming their first child into the world it became evident that the present is the best time to embark on their journey of a natural, healthy, adventure filed and self sustainable lifestyle. And what better way to do that than to share healthy, sustainably grown food with the community through a farm!

The land they currently farm in Mission, BC is on the McPherson family property and was previously farmed as a certified organic vegetable farm for many years. After sitting fallow for nearly a decade, Steve and Lena have taken on the task of reviving this wonderful little farm. Come be a part of the story and enjoy some nutrient dense, delicious food!
